Regatta Arm Chair: White Rattan Chair Designed with Sailing in Mind
The Regatta Arm Chair is a white rattan chair with a tall, rounded back and arms that sweep outward at the front. Open rattan spindles fill the space under the arms, and a woven base with a soft arch finishes the bottom. At 37.5 inches wide and 36 inches deep, it holds its own beside a full size sofa.
Spice Islands designs Regatta in house and builds it from natural wicker and honey rattan for indoor rooms. The seat and back cushions are made to order in the USA in the fabric you choose.
White Rattan Armchair with Patterned Cushions
Spice Islands says white goes with everything, and its photos of this chair prove the point with prints. This one wears a blue and white patchwork pattern, while the gallery shows a navy sailboat print and a pale blue one. Regatta cushions are finished with contrasting box cording for a tailored edge.
White Rattan Accent Chair for a Full Regatta Room
Angle it toward the sofa and it becomes the accent chair that pulls the room together, as in this sunroom with the matching sofa, loveseat, ottoman and coffee table. The chair's 36.5 inch height and 36 inch depth match the Regatta Sofa and Loveseat, so the seat line stays even across the room.
Dust the frame with a soft, dry cloth, and use a vacuum's brush attachment to clear the spindles and the weave on the base. For spills, blot with a cloth barely dampened with mild soap and let the chair air dry. Keep it away from direct heat and damp spots, and lift it rather than dragging it across the floor.
