Spice Islands says its line brings the easy-going vibes of the tropics into your home, and the Islander does it in less space. Pair a bold tropical print with the Natural frame for a beach-house feel, or go quiet with a solid and let the weave carry the look.
A Small Rattan Sofa Built for Comfort
The designer took pains over the comfort of this sofa, and the wicker is built to stand up to everyday wear. Spice Islands says the seat height makes the Islander especially comfortable for people around 5 feet tall.
Dust the frame with a soft, dry cloth, and use a vacuum's brush attachment to lift dirt out of the woven panels. For a spill, wipe gently with a barely damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry. Don't soak the wicker or leave it wet. Keep the sofa away from direct heat and humid spots, and lift it rather than dragging it when you move it.
A tropical couch doesn't have to take over the room. The Islander Sofa brings Spice Islands' natural wicker look to apartments, condos and smaller living rooms at 75 inches wide and 34 inches deep.
It follows the design of Spice Islands' best-selling set at a smaller scale, with curved arms, woven panels along the base, and seat and back cushions in the fabric you choose.
